Testimonials

18 months ago I suffered cerebral bleeding and a major stroke, since when my life has been altered forever. I am no longer the busy, active person I once was; learning to live in the slow lane, something I have found very hard to do. After 5 months inpatient and outpatient treatment at the hospital I was discharged and quite unable to walk.

Trevor Bramble then entered my life, taking on less by way of personal training but much more in helping me in several other important directions; to date he has worked with me on exercises that have enabled me to walk in house and in garden; out doors I still use the arm of my carer, massage to help me relax particularly for my shoulders and back, plus massage to help the dupuytrens contractures that my husband has in both hands, talking, listening and directing how I think an important part of his visits here and my own de-stressing. As nutritionist advice on how to improve our eating habits

I have known him for over a year, during which time he has also taken on my husband. We are both in our eighties and failing to be the people we once were. During this time he has become an irreplaceable and valued source of wisdom and help as I adapt to my new life. His multifaceted skills have been of great benefit, so I would not like
to give priority to any one of the four listed. His approach is holistic and welcome.

Just a short line to thank you for looking after me this last year, I am not too sure I have thanked you properly for keeping me moving and for spotting potential problems before they cause a problem. I would be delighted to recommend your sports massage service to anybody, especially anybody who has a manual job and relies on their body being in good condition. I have not had to take any time off work with a pulled muscle or other injury since we started the regular massages. Thanks again. – Nigel Chivers (dry stone waller)

After a series of sessions with a physio after trapping a nerve in my back I found that after a few months I found my back was still rather stiff and I mentioned this to Trevor and he explained that it was probably due to muscle memory caused by bad posture and poor flexibility. He suggested a 3 strikes sports massage approach. This was 3 session a week apart after which if there was no improvement we could discuss other options. Well apparently my back muscles were like “granite” which is not a good thing as it means that they don’t flex when you move about. After 3 sessions things were a lot better and I stopped. However I now have a regular once a month sports massage on my back and I find that my flexibility has increased and it’s amazing the difference as I no longer suffer stiffness in my neck and shoulders when I have been sat at my desk for 8 or 10 hours a day working.- Martin L

The massage was great – convenient, professional and eased my aching muscles!  It was also excellent value for money. Highly recommended. -Toby R

Myself and my wife have been using Trevor for well over a year now. I had previously made use of sports massages in Swindon, but wanted someone more local, to fit round my training program. My wife previously had numerous muscle tightness problems, which have eased since regular massages from Trevor and enabled her to exercise much more constantly. We now have minimal injury issues, which I attribute to the monthly sports massages and cannot praise Trevor enough with his attention to detail and interest in your needs. I would recommend his services to anyone seeking sports massage in the Chippenham area. – Paul K

Trevor understands all the aspects of fitness and has proven invaluable in sorting a nagging back muscle problem (through some all too effective sports massage that I wish I’d had months ago). Liz P

Fantastic knowledge of sports injuries, a firm hand that gets right to the source of pain. Great value for money too! – Rachel G

I have been working with Trevor from ATP for the last 12 months and during that time I’ve completed the Alpe Huez Triathlon, an Ironman distance race in Barcelona and qualified for and competed in the World Ironman 70.3 Triathlon in Florida. Throughout that time Trevor’s skills have been invaluable I’ve made sports massage a regular part of my training regime allowing me to train more consistently and without doubt it has improved performances along with aiding my recovery from races and hard training sessions. Trevor’s approach is very much one of going the extra mile where nothing is too much trouble for him, furthermore, he is very client focused taking a genuine interest and ultimately an integral part in what his clients are seeking to achieve. I would wholly recommend his services. Dave M, 40+
